Kristen speaks and trains on a variety of topics for audiences big and small. It was always her dream to make a positive impact in the lives of others, by inspiring, motivating and challenging people from all different backgrounds. Having a strategic approach combined with an outside-the-box perspective, she helps people break through barriers and challenges, overcome doubts and make large strides towards not only achieving their goals, but exceeding them.

Kristen aims to deliver education, inspiration and entertainment through training and development. She has over 10 years of experience in employee training, policy writing, grant management and project management. Through her career, she has gained valuable experience in employee relations, leadership and professional development, as well as program development. These skills have allowed her to speak in crowds ranging from sizes of 10 to 300 people.

Kristen earned her bachelor's degree in Sociology from Tougaloo College and her master's degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Memphis. She also earned her designation as a Certified Public Manager (CPM) from the Mississippi State Personnel Board.
Beyond the Expectations was created from the heart, with a fire and passion to help others succeed.

So yes, Kristen does have a Master's degree... but mastering her gift and sharing it with others is more important than a degree on a wall.
Yes, she has a management certification... but if she can help others manage life's challenges, that certifies who she is.
Yes, she has business goals set... but if she can reach out and give a word to someone, give them a boost, and lift them up... then 100% of her goals are met.
Yes, she has professional training experience...but her purpose, her desire, and her determination to help someone else, rise above anything that any paper can tell you about her.

Kristen's favorite quote comes from Nelson Mandela "I never lose, I either win or I learn." This quote defines the foundation of Beyond the Expectations, to educate, inspire, and empower others from Kristen's experiences of wins and lessons.
